High-performance laser rangefinder for forestry that measures distances of up to 500 meters. Designed to meet the demand for angle-compensated distance measurement, the Forestry 550 features a built-in clinometer that offers easy-to-read measurements of height, vertical separation (the difference in height between two trees), horizontal and actual (linear) distance. Individual measurement results are displayed on an internal LCD screen and the external LCD screen shows all measurements simultaneously. The Forestry 550’s high-quality multi-layer optics produce bright, clear images, which make it the ideal choice for multiple aspects of forestry, from clinical or general observation and analysis to surveying.
- Quick, simple operation makes it easy to find the perfect range. Linear (actual) distance, horizontal distance, height, angle, and vertical separation (difference in height between two targets) can be measured at the touch of a button.
- Two LCD screens: measurement results are displayed on internal and external LCD screens. The external screen shows all measurements simultaneously.
- Target Priority Switch System: select from two measurement modes. First Target Priority gives priority to the nearest target, and Distant Target Priority gives priority to the target furthest away.
- High-quality 6x monocular with multilayer coating for bright images.
- Waterproof with O-ring seals and nitrogen gas for added resistance to harsh environments.
- High-eyepoint design provides clear field of view, even when wearing safety glasses.
- Measurement range: 10-500 m.
